Bhagyashree Borse: A Film’s Success Or Failure Is A Team Effort
After the success of Lenin, her first big commercial hit, Bhagyashree Borse spoke emotionally about the criticism she faced earlier in her career.
In a recent interview she said many people called her an “Iron Leg” after Kantha and Andhra King Taluka failed at the box office.
She said it is much common for heroines to be blamed when films do not do well but she feels it is unfair.
Bhagyashree clearly explained that actors do not control important decisions like editing, screenplay changes or the final cut as those are handled by the director and producers at any cost.
She said she would accept equal responsibility only if she had an equal role in making those decisions. After Lenin’s success, she hopes people stop blaming actresses alone and remember that filmmaking is always a team effort.
